Forest Heights is one of Athens' coolest neighborhoods. It is the home to many talented Athens musicians and artists. There is an Annual "Blueberry Festival" in June hosted and staffed by Bart King the founder of the Festival. The proceeds benefit our Community Blueberry Project. As you roam the neighborhood you will notice blueberry bushes dotting the road these are community bushes! We all share them amongst ourselves and the many deer that call Forest Heights home. The white tailed deer is our neighborhood mascot! Our proximity to the river makes us a stomping ground.
